Chicago Steel AGM Mike Fazio Passes Away at Age of 31
In a heartfelt message, the Chicago Steel of the USHL has announced the heartbreaking news of the passing of their Assistant GM Mike Fazio after a battle with testicular cancer.
We are heartbroken for the passing of our Assistant General Manager, Mike Fazio, who died Thursday after a battle with testicular cancer. Mike embodied the spirit of the Chicago Steel and cherished every moment he spent playing, coaching and watching the game he loved
Mike Fazio's Hockey Legacy
Fazio spent the last 2 years with the Chicago Steel, starting out as a scout with the team and working his way through Player Development Roles and then to the AGM position this year.
Fazio will be missed by the Chicago community. Our thoughts are with him and his family at this time.
