Veteran Avalanche Forward Knocks Out Wild Rookie With High Hit
An Avalanche forward laid a high hit on a Wild rookie which knocked him out in a scary scene.
Minnesota Wild Defenseman Hunt Knocked Out Cold
It was a scary scene in the 2nd period of today's Minnesota Wild game that saw them playing the Avalanche.
2020 draft pick Daemon Hunt was in pursuit of an attacker behind his own net when an Avalanche attacker, Tanner Kero, clipped Hunt up high resulting in a helicopter spin from Hunt and him being knocked out cold.
Luckily, Hunt was able to skate off the ice by himself but that does not make the injury any less painful. It seems like there was little malice behind Kero clipping Hunt as they were going in opposite directions and Hunt and Kero just happened to collide.
There is currently no word on Hunt but it is likely that he will miss a few games because of this hit.
