Despite losing in the Four Nations Finale to Team Canada, both Matthew and Brady Tkachuk have been on a media tour throughout the United States as the NHL looks to capitalize on the sudden excitement around hockey.
Their latest media appearance came together on the New Heights Podcast hosted by NFL brothers Jason and Travis Kelce, when the brothers were asked who talks the most s**t on the ice, to which Brady quickly responded it's Matthew.
Then he would recall a chirp that his brother gave him while playing for the Calgary Flames that has stuck with him for years, and while it's not the best one we've ever heard, it certainly hit Brady close to home enough for him to remember it after all these years.
There's been some great chirps caught on video throughout the years in the NHL, with many of them highly inappropriate to share, but this one was simple from Matthew as it attacked Brady's conditioning which he didn't think was too bad at the time.
Now, Matthew plays with the Florida Panthers and is a Stanley Cup Champion already, so he's likely got many more good chirps saved up for his brother moving forward when they collide on the ice again.
Unfortunately, both are currently injured after the brutal toll that the Four Nations Face Off took on them, but it's given them the chance to promote the NHL after the wild success of that tournament, so we hope we can see them back on the ice soon doing what they do best.
