Fans call for PK Subban's firing after highly inappropriate comments
After PK Subban made some pretty inappropriate comments in a humorous fashion, fans are now calling for him to be punished by ESPN as they viewed them negatively.
PK Subban took a big swing on the ESPN panel the other night, making a humorous comment about his own body when discussing stick repairs. Subban was goaded into saying an inappropriate joke, saying the following.
"I'm not a carpenter but I carry around a hammer"
Now, fans are not having a great response to the comments, and some are even calling for Subban to be fired for his comments.
Bye bye subban!!!! I might not be a carpenter but I carry a hammer???? On the air?? Any other man would be taken off the air. Everyone knows what he was referring to
I think that ultimately, Subban was just making a big swing for a funny joke, and it missed. That happens sometimes when commentators take risks, and he shouldn't lose his job over it. While the joke was inappropriate, it used a pun and didn't use any actual cuss words.
We will see if there is a response from ESPN or if Subban is forced to apologize.
