The hockey world has been received the utmost of unfortunate news regarding two female hockey players who have tragically passed away in horrific fashion

Former DIII New England College teammates and friends Sidney Capolino and Meghan Moore, who were twenty-three and twenty-five respectfully, were the victims in a double m*rder committed by a disgusting stalker of Morgan Moore.

It's hard to put into words a tragedy like this given the opportunity that was taken away from them with the rise of the new Professional Women's Hockey League, (PWHL). Not assuming these women wanted to pursure a professional career in hockey, but given their collegiate background, this is a lost opportunity because of the heinous crime that occured from a selfish person.

This week, we lost four important people in the hockey world. Chris Simon, sidney Capolino, Meghan Moore and Konstantin Koltsov. All these four have passed away far too soon.

Chris Simon, a former NHL player unfortunately lost his life due to suicide and can be related with CTE, a brain trauma.

Konstantin Koltsov passed away at the age of 42 years old, a belarusian hockey player whos cause of death was also related to a suicide.

We here at HouseOfHockey send out our most deepest condolences to all of Chris Simon, Konstantin Koltsov, Meghan Moore and Sidney Capolino's family and friends and to all those who may be affected by this tragic loss.
