The Hockey Hall of Fame Induction is one that so many players covet throughout their careers, and this past weekend, many legends were honored. Heading into the Hall of Fame this year were Pavel Datsyuk, David Poile, Natalie Darwitz, Shea Weber, Krissy Kendall, Colin Campbell, and last but not least, Jeremy Roenick, in what is one of the most star-studded groups in recent memory.
It was the latter that seemingly stole the show on the weekend however, as footage has emerged of the Hall of Fame Legends game, which was kicked off in the most shocking fashion. According to those in attendance, hockey icon Jeremy Roenick took to the ice with a microphone in hand, ultimately instructing the audience to dance along incredibly, and it's safe to say that those in attendance absolutely loved it.
The clip showed off just a little of the dance moves that Roenick still has in his arsenal, but he had the crowd absolutely thrilled as they watched some of their childhood favorites take to the ice. The now 54-year-old was getting the crowd hyped during one of the most enjoyable games of the season, and then when he got on the ice, he proved that he could still get it done by finishing off a penalty shot in a very impressive fashion.
Ultimately it appears as though everyone in the crowd had a fantastic time whether that be for Roenick's dance party or the game itself, and given how prestigious the weekend is, it's still great to see that so many involved can have fun with what can be a very serious and emotional weekend.
