Divisional rivals, Philadelphia Flyers and New Jersey Devils faced off on saturday night in what was a battle between the both teams as the Flyers look to keep their playoff aspirations alive. The match ended a quiet 1-0 win with Travis Konecny scoring his 33rd goal of the season, giving the Flyers some minimal hope for the post-season. During the match, fans erupted in a full on brawl as things got pretty heated.

It came to a head, when a middle aged man with glasses began punching a fan in a Devils jersey. The New Jersey fan who was on the receiving end didn't stop mouthing off. As the Devils fan was getting escorted out by security he was grabbed once again by the vicious man who prepared to do more damage on the younger gentleman.

The brawl, was posted by Barstool Philly on X:

All fun and games when stuff like that occur, for the fans watching obviously, it is expected that the two people that were fighting will be banned and prohibited from watching live NHL games.

Passion is one thing, but inflicting damage on others is a whole different story that has no place in the game of hockey. Fans want to go to a hockey game to enjoy their experience by being in a safe environment.
