After losing the first game of the series to the Hurricanes, Patrick Roy had a unique practice planned for his New York Islanders players ahead of game 2 tonight.

There are a lot of unique and funny tendencies that come to the forefront for players and coaches during the playoffs. And Patrick Roy is no different. As he tries to get his New York Islanders players to bounce back from their first loss to the Carolina Hurricanes in game 1, he held a unique practice for his players, lasting just 13 minutes long.

The practice is one of the shortest of Islanders history, recalls one of the Islanders media members in jest.

The Islanders' morning practice lasted exactly 13 minutes.

"The shortest practice I've seen in a very long time," a local press member told me here in Carolina.

Patrick Roy and the Islanders are expected to go with goaltender Semyon Varlamov for tonight's start after losing the first game. Many speculated that Roy would give star Ilya Sorokin a start, however, it appears he has his faith in Varlamov.

We will see if the unique practice gets the Islanders going for game two tonight against the Hurricanes, as they look to steal a game away from the Hurricanes in their own barn.
