Las Vegas Golden Knights reveal Logan Thompson as game 1 starter
The Las Vegas Golden Knights are set to take on the Dallas Stars in game 1 of their series tonight, and the Knights have finally revealed who they are going to start in goal.
The Las Vegas Golden Knights have broken news that Logan Thompson will be their starting goaltender for game 1 of the series against the Stars tonight. This comes after much speculation on who the Knights would go with their goaltender, according to Jesse Granger.
The Vegas Golden Knights are one of a handful of teams in the NHL who split their goaltender's time this season, having the formidable Adin Hill also on their roster. Thompson played 46 games for the Knights this year, with a 2.70 goals against average and a .908 save percentage. Hill, on the other hand, appeared in slightly fewer, playing just 35 games but recording an impressive 2.71 goals against average and a .909 save percentage.
The goaltending depth in Vegas is one of their best strengths and could be what takes them on another long run this post-season. We will see how it goes for Thompson tonight in the Knight's first post-season game.
