Kyle Dubas and Jason Spezza react to loss versus the Maple Leafs
Kyle Dubas and Jason Spezza both left the Toronto Maple Leafs organization last offseason and recently went viral for their reaction to losing to the Leafs.
Last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Pittsburgh Penguins faced off, the team Kyle Dubas and Jason Spezza used to work for versus the team they currently work for. It was a close match throughout the game and was eventually decided by a Kyle Dubas deadline acquisition, Jake McCabe.
Sportsnet immediately cut to Dubas and Spezza hoping to get their unfiltered reaction as the Pittsburgh Penguins are fighting for a playoff spot right now and this was what they caught.
As it stands, the Penguins have a 38% chance of making the playoffs which is quite impressive considering how they sold at the trade deadline.
With four games left in the season, the Penguins will need to play well if they want to squeak into either the final divisional spot in the Metro or the final wildcard spot.
