Connor McDavid misses practice with a lower-body injury
Connor McDavid, the best player on the planet, has missed back-to-back days of practice with the Oilers and it has been confirmed that he suffered a lower-body injury in the Oilers' last game against the Flames.
Sportsnet's Mark Spector has just announced some awful injury news pertaining to Connor McDavid.
No McDavid at practice today, second day off in a row for No. 97.
That is uncharacteristic. Let's see where this goes..
Officially, McDavid has a lower body injury and is day to day. Questionable for tmw v. VGK.
Injury happened with roughly 5:00 to play in Calgary Saturday.
Sounds like an injury, but not a major one. With playoffs around the corner, they'll be careful.
Thankfully, this injury does not sound too serious and could mean that McDavid could not miss any games if he feels healthy enough. As it stands, McDavid is 3rd in league points with 130 behind Nikita Kucherov with 136 and Nathan MacKinnon.
Hopefully, for the Oilers, McDavid does not miss any game time and is able to overtake Kucherov and MacKinnon to finish with yet another scoring title.
