Gary Bettman Introduces Major Rule Changes To The NHL
The general managers from all 32 teams in the NHL are currently meeting in Florida to discuss many issues within the League.
According to Darren Dreger, there will be a major rule change concerning the coach's challenges.
NHL Coaches Will be Able to Challenge Puck Over Glass and High Stick Penalty Calls
The video review and coach's challenges have been quite constroversial over the last few seasons. It appears that the League is ready to take measures to resolve those issues.
From Darren Dreger:
"Rule tweaks in the NHL. Puck over glass will eventually be a Coaches Challenge to remove penalty as will «Friendly Fire» high stick penalties. Other small changes also expected. These are recommendations that go to the competition committee and then to board for final approval."
