NHL media personality and former NHL player Paul Bissonnette makes bold claim when he was asked who the toughest team in the Eastern Conference, and some may even find it laughable!
Bissonnette claims the Leafs are the toughest team in the East
Not everyday you see the Leafs and the word toughness get along, well that's because they don't, unless your name is Paul Bissonnette. In the Spittin Chicklets podcast, Biz claims that the Toronto Maple Leafs are the toughest team in the Conference, meaning they are tougher than the Bruins and the Panthers, some of their potential playoff opponents. Many, including myself believe that statement is comical to say the least.

His reasoning behind this is because more Leafs players would fight than any other quantity of players on another team. To think an NHL player wouldn't know the true definition of toughness...
A tough team doesn't define yourself if you can fight, a tough team is a team that is hard to play against across the three periods. For example, hard forechecking, big hits, grit in front of the net, etc. We think Biz's statement has got to be one of his worst takes yet!
