Brent Burns for a few years was one of the best offensive defencemen in the league and also won the Norris trophy in the 16-17 season when he scored 29 goals and 76 points.
The San Jose Sharks went from a consistent playoff team to a bottom feeder within 1 year after they lost captain Joe Pavelski and signed former Norris winning defenceman Erik Karlsson.
