Vincent Trocheck had a very good season for the Carolina Hurricanes last season scoring 21 goals 51 points in 81 games. The Carolina Hurricanes were looking to move in a different direction and unfortunately for them that meant goodbye to Trocheck.
The Rangers had an opening on the second line center position when Ryan Strome decided to hit free agency, and it looks like they've found his replacement.
The Rangers signed Vincent Trocheck to a massive 7 year deal with an AAV of $5.625.
Trocheck brings a little more physicality than what Strome brings, and has about the same offensive output.
Is this a good signing by the Rangers?
