During the Stanley Cup Finals' Game 4, an unexpected incident led to Jack Eichel's departure. A puck struck his face in the closing minute of the second period while facing off against Florida. The puck came off the stick of Florida's Jonathan Marchessault.
Eichel was quickly ushered to the locker room after the hit, leaving his status in the game uncertain.
It's worth noting that this isn't the first time Eichel has had to exit a game abruptly. During Game 2, a run-in with Matthew Tkachuk of Florida also forced his withdrawal.
As it stands now, Vegas is currently ahead of Florida in the series, boasting a 3-1 scoreline.
UPDATE:
Eichel triumphantly returned it what became a 3-2 game for the Golden Knights.
