Hockey players keep themselves in impeccable cardio vascular shape, so it seems a little shocking to hear that athletes can suffer such issues, but surprisingly, this isn't the first time Letang has suffered one.
In 2014, Letang had his first stroke. He went public with his condition, Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) to help raise awareness. He returned to playing just a short 8 weeks after.
NHL Insider Frank Seravalli stated that Letang is feeling better and luckily isn't experiencing any lasting effects.
The team doctors will continue to monitor him and make sure nothing is wrong.

The Pittsburgh Penguins General Manager, Ron Hextall had this to say:
Head coach Mike Sullivan also commented on the situation:
Mike Sullivan on Kris Letang: «He means a lot to the team, he means a lot to the players. You could see the concern on their faces when I informed them after the game. Knowing this group the way I know them, they'll rally around this. They'll rally around Kris.» Taylor Haase (@TaylorHaasePGH) November 30, 2022
