It's been a very interesting year for the waiver-wire this season. We've seen multiple first round picks get put on waivers, some former 30 goal scorers, stanley cup champions etc...
Well, today is just another day and another waiver wire placement as the Florida Panthers decided to make a move.
Anton Levtchi, a 27 year old undrafted player from Varkaus, Finland, signed a one year deal with the Florida Panthers this past offseason after scoring 61 points in 55 games for the Tappara Tampere in the SM-liiga league.
Unfortunately though after only two games in the NHL with the Panthers, and 35 games in the AHL, both parties have decided parting ways is for the best interest of both.
