Coyotes' Hayton Will Miss Several Weeks Due To Injury Requiring Surgery
As reported by Craig Morgan, Coyotes centreman and 2018 top-5 pick Barret Hayton is expected to miss up to 6 weeks due to the injury he sustained last night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Hearing Coyotes C Barrett Hayton is going to miss 4-6 weeks; surgery likely for an injury sustained last night vs. Columbus.
Hearing the Coyotes will recall C Jan Jen�k from Tucson to replace Hayton.
Sounds like Matias Maccelli is going to be OK; just needed major dental work. Hayton has played all 16 games with the Coyotes this season, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists to start the year. Last year, he had 19 goals and 24 assists in 82 games. The Coyotes will look to Jan Jenik as a short-term replacement.
