It's been a tough start to the season for the Washington Capitals, they are 5-4-1 on the season, but they are losing more and more players by the day.

They already started off the season missing their top line center in Nicklas Backstrom who has offseason surgery, and also tom line right winger Tom Wilson who had surgery after getting injured in the first game of the playoffs against Florida.

Against the Nashville Predators Saturday night they lost both TJ Oshie who is now out 'indefinitely' and John Carlson who is day-to-day.

They lost forward Connor Brown on October 17th after receiving a hit from a Vancouver Canucks player, and now he is most likely done for the season after receiving surgery on a torn ACL from the hit:

#Caps forward Connor Brown, who was injured on October 17 versus Vancouver, underwent a surgical procedure on his right knee to reconstruct his torn ACL. Based on the nature of this procedure, Brown is expected to miss 6-8 months.
