This afternoon the Anaheim Ducks hosted the Ottawa Senators in what finished as a 5-1 victory for the Ottawa Senators.
Both of these teams are near the bottom of the standings and while they were both looking for a victory, they would both love to have a chance at Conor Bedard in the 2023 draft as well.
Late in the second period while the Ottawa Senators were up 4-0, Anaheims Ryan Strome gives Jake Sanderson a cross check in the back which sent him flying awkwardly into the boards.
Captain Brady Tkachuk was not a fan of the hit and immediately went to Strome and let him know the fight was happening, eventually Strome agreed and well, Tkachuk made him regret the hit.
