The Colorado Avalanche are two games away from winning a stanley cup, currently leading the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 in their best of seven series.
Tonight the Avalanche take on the Lightning in the Bolts barn and we know the Lightning have been good at home, so we could see a different game tonight.
We know the Colorado Avalanche are hungry for the cup this year, and we know that they will not be happy unless they win the cup. When they won the Western Conference Finals, Nathan MacKinnon was seen telling his teammates to not smile for the photo, making a statement that the team has won nothing yet and won't be happy unless they win the cup.
Well after game 2, which the Avalanche demolished the Lightning 7-0, Cale Makar was asked:
"Are you going to celebrate tonight?"
Which is gave a blunt response with 0 emotion:
This team is hungry, and wont feed that hunger until they are hoisting Lord Stanley.
