Dangerous Scene at Rogers Arena as Several Fans are Injured
A scary scene unfolded at the Rogers arena, home of the Vancouver Canucks.
During a UFC event last Saturday, some fans got injured when a barrier collapsed.
Ariel Helwani, a reporter present at the moment of the incident, captured the whole thing and it's going viral on Twitter.
No Serious Injuries
Dana White, President of the UFC, made a statement following the events.
As reported by Aaron Bronsteter:
White on the barrier falling at the arena: "Nobody was seriously hurt, a couple minor injuries. The arena handled it immediately, roped it off, got security up there, moved people to some better seats and managed it like a bunch of pros"
Fortunately, it ended well and everybody got to enjoy their night.
