Jon Cooper has been the head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning for 10 seasons now, and has one of the highest winning percentages all time of all NHL coaches, he has went 434-220-61 (.650 win %).
Cooper is a well respected, and a very well spoken coach. During the first round against the Maple Leafs, Cooper refused to give the Leafs any respect during his press conferences, saying the Lightning beat themselves, not the Maple Leafs played well and beat them.
This time against the Rangers is a bit different, the Rangers won games 1 & 2, but the Lightning came back to win 4 straight. Cooper though, had huge praise for Gerard Gallant and the Rangers:
That Rangers team, Gerard Gallant's going to be sitting here in not too long of future.
