The NHL Deparment of Player Safety reached a verdict about something that happened in the game between the Colorado Avalanche and the New Jersey Devils.
NHL DoPS Gives Maximum Fine Eligible to Colton for Cross-Checking New Jersey Devils' Forward Meier
Ross Colton have to pay a $5,000 fine for a cross-check he gave on Timo Meier on Tuesday night.
"Colorado's Ross Colton has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for Cross-checking New Jersey's Timo Meier."
