Retired NHLer turned analyst P.K. Subban is taking it on the chin from a reporter for apparently having an attitude.

Ian Kennedy, who writes for The Hockey News and Yahoo Canada, has stated he won't be releasing a recent interview he did with Subban, adding Subban's attitude has been over the top lately.

"I do remember when PK showed up 30 minutes late for our video interview causing me to cancel another, wearing a bath robe, then the next day said some weird Pride stuff, then made the Lizzo comment, now this..."

"I'm just deleting the interview, it's not coming out. Ever."

The "now this" Kennedy is referring to is Subban's comments following word that the Chicago Blackhawks had won the first overall pick in last night's draft lottery, meaning they get Connor Bedard, slated to be the best player in an NHL draft since Connor McDavid.

There is a very vocal faction on the internet that believes the Blackhawks should not have this opportunity given everything that went on with the Kyle Beach situation and how the team attempted to sweep it under the rug.

As for the "Pride Stuff", Subban recently said in an interview that NHL players should not be expected to be activists, referring to criticism some players received for refusing to wear a Pride jersey in warmups.

He also recently said that the Toronto Maple Leafs needed to "pack a Lizzo sized lunch" for their next game against the Florida Panthers in an apparent shot at the celebrity's weight.
