The Boston Bruins are coming off of a record-breaking, yet extemely painful season.
After securing 65 wins in the regular season, the Bruins lost to the heavy underdog Florida Panthers in the first round of the playoffs.
Now as he head into the offseason, the future of Bruins stalwarts Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci are in flux.
Both were on one-year deals last year, with many speculating that this could have been their last years in the NHL.
Farewell To Legends
A new report has suggested that this is in fact the last year for Bergeron and Krejci.
This would be an incredibly disappointing end to two Massachusetts legends.
Both players played major roles in the Bruins 2011 Stanley Cup victory
Anonymous Report
A source who is claiming to be a player on the Bruins has confirmed the worst for Bruins fans.
A Bruins player anonymously said that he does not count on the return of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci next year - Via NHL Feeds
Bruins players know what's going on in their locker room better than anyone, so if a Bruin says they are gone, we should take him at his word.
If this is it for Bergeron and Krejci, it has been a great run for two of the best players during the 2010's.
Next stop (at least for Bergeron) - the Hockey Hall of Fame.
