Patrick Kane Linked To Shocking Contending Team
Patrick Kane's return to the NHL is getting closer. Rumors are flying around more than ever about his next potential destination.
A link has emerged between Kane and the Edmonton Oilers.
Kane Linked to the Oilers
According to Elliotte Friedman, Kane could be interested in joining the Oilers, among other teams.
The Oilers would certainly be interested. Even if they have no money available, it could work.
Kane certainly won't ask for a big salary, and with the right trade, the Oilers could make him an interesting offer.
Needless to say, the Oilers' offense is already boasted. A more strategic move could be to add a defenseman, but who would say no to Patrick Kane?
Friedman Shares Update on Timeline for Kane's Return
Elliotte Friedman believes Kane is starting to think about where he'd like to play and that he should come back in a few weeks:
"I think it's possible he's going to start narrowing down some of the teams that he's interested in and are interested in him," Friedman said during Saturday Headlines on Hockey Night in Canada. "I still think he's a few weeks away from playing, but I think we're getting at least a few days closer to him narrowing down the list."
We can't wait to see where he ends up!
