With the start of the 2022-23 season just eight days away, we have reduced our training camp roster to 34 players. https://t.co/FO1dLjtlL4 Philadelphia Flyers (@NHLFlyers) October 5, 2022
Among those cut was 21 year old defensemen Cam York, who was drafted by the Flyers in 2019, and played 30 games with the club last season.
Flyers head coach John Tortorella was asked about York being sent to the minors and propped York up mentioning he knows York has god-given abilities, but they just haven't been seen consistently yet.

With his head coach backing him York will take his time in the minors to develop into the player Philadelphia drafted him to be and who Tortorella believes he can be.
Below are some flashes of brilliance York showed last year, that he's going to be working on this year.
