Gaudreau made a public announcement of everything that went into his decision to leave and it still did not make fans feel any better. Especially when they saw that he signed in Columbus for significantly less money than what he was offered to stay with the team that drafted and developed him.
This past weekend, Gaudreau was in Philadelphia for a charity game, a city most people though he was going to sign with, and a photo was taken of him that is upsetting quite a few fans across the league.
In this photo, Gaudreau is still wearing the Calgary Flames pants and helmet. Which doesn't sound like a bad thing, but in the eyes of fans, he turned his back on the organization, so they don't want to be seeing him wearing anything that represents the Flames.
