REPORT: Injuries REVEALED to referee who was slashed and kicked by player - It's BAD!

Yesterday a video was released online of an angry player attacking a referee in a Russian hockey league. The player was revealed as Nikolay Rizin, and he received a 10-minute penalty which he retaliated on the referee by two-hand slashing him and continuing to kick him with his skate after he was down.

Today the league released an update on the referee who was attacked, these are the injuries he suffered:
According to the league, the referee has broken ribs, jaw, facial bone. Geesh.
Thankfully the league took immediate action on the player who committed this action and have banned him for life and he is also facing charges for assault:
The Hockey League Labor Reserves does not accept and will never accept such behavior on the part of teams and individual players; KFOR will take the most stringent measures on this fact. Also, the league is ready to provide full legal support to provide legal assis tance to the injured arbitrator.
