The Toronto Maple Leafs are coming off a disappointing loss the other night to the New York Islanders 7-2. No team in the National Hockey League has quite the same pressure on them this season than the Toronto Maple Leafs to do something in the playoffs.

For most teams, being under pressure means winning the Stanley Cup, but for the Maple Leafs, under pressure means just have any playoff success at all. A team that is as highly skilled as the Maple Leafs, you would expect to be a threat in the post season, but year after year of losing in the first round has made the team become a running joke.

The Maple Leafs made some big trades at this years trade deadline to improve their lineup for a playoff run, but sadly a lot of these players they brought in by trade have already suffered injuries and have missed some time.

Head Coach Sheldon Keefe announced that another forward is going to miss some time due to re-aggravating a knee injury:

Sheldon Keefe says Bobby McMann re-aggravated a knee injury he sustained with the Marlies and will miss some time.

McMann has only played 10 games with the Maple Leafs this season, recording 1 assist, but his speed has proven to be a valuable asset in the bottom 6. He has not quite found his scoring touch in the NHL yet, but the 26 year old has been a dominant goal scorer in the AHL:
