SUSPENSION incoming after dirty head-check in pre-season game

Over these past few seasons, we've seen the league really crack down on head contact and it has become an almost immediate suspension for any head contact whatsoever.
Last night in a pre-season game between the Seattle Kraken and Edmonton Oilers, we unfortunately saw one of these hits that the league is fighting so hard to stop from happening.
Jacob Melanson of the Seattle Kraken who is a former 5th round pick in 2021, caught Edmonton Oilers prospect James Hamblin with a blindside hit to the side of the head.
Seattle's Jacob Melanson will have a hearing today for Interference/Illegal Check to the Head on Edmonton's James Hamblin.
