A shocking rumor has taken the internet by storm that involves the recently sent away Corey Perry and Connor Bedard's mom.
Perry Leaves Team And Shrouds Himself In Controversy
Corey Perry has been away from the Chicago Blackhawks for around a week now. Since leaving he has been surrounded by conflicting reports and rumors about the situation.
The first conflicting report was centered around whether or not he was voluntarily away from the team. Kyle Davidson said that the team sent away Corey Perry during a statement.
Davidson does say it's the team's decision for Perry to be away from the team, not Perry's.
Then Perry's agent fired back and said that Perry was attending to personal issues.

Rumor Spreads Regarding Bedard's Mother And Perry
Early today a screenshot released of an anonymous text message exchange alleged that Corey Perry is away from the team due to having an inappropriate relationship with Connor Bedard's mother.
The messages allege that Bedard's mother and Perry had a relationship and that a current TSN employee was the original source of the information. While this is far from confirmed it has not stopped the internet and social media from running with the narrative.
It's true.. Former NHL player just hit my DM's and said he had some extra activities with one of the Moms on the trip.
The Blackhawks said they signed Corey Perry to to be like a father figure to Connor Bedard. In hindsight they probably should have been a bit more specific.
Again while this story is far from confirmed by any party involved it does give a potential explanation for the absence of Perry. It also could lead the team or Perry to make a statement coming out with the truth whatever that may be to put an end to any rumors.
