James Reimer is one of the top goaltenders in this year's free-agency class. He spent this past season with the San Jose Sharks, where he posted a 3.48 goals-against average and a save percentage of 0.890 throughout 43 games. He'll likely be seeking a low-term, low-cost contract, which makes him an intriguing option for many teams.
Montreal's most famous pranksters, Habs Fan TV, have gone viral all season long for their hilarious interviews and post-game commentary. The boys caught up with Reimer earlier this season following one of his practices and discussed the possibility of playing for Montreal at some point.
When asked about the possibility of playing for the NHL's oldest franchise someday, Reimer had this to say.
The group then joked about Reimer's time in Toronto, and how he must feel better now that he's gone.
While Montreal doesn't exactly have a need in the net right now, if they move one of Jake Allen or Samuel Montembeault this summer, Reimer could be an intriguing option.
