He was accused of mistreating players again before the season has even begun for him and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Now a former player of Babcock's has sent a message about how he feels regarding Babcock.
Former Toronto Maple Leaf Frank Corrado had an up and down tenure with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He struggled to get into the lineup under Mike Babcock. When he was put in the lineup he wasn't used in the most optimal ways.
Now Corrado who is a current NHL analyst decided to have some fun on social media at Babcock's expense.
With Babcock rumored to be looking through players phones in Columbus Corrado tweeted out what Babcock would've found on his phone when they were in Toronto together.
The milk carton alludes to the idea that Corrado was missing from the lineup for so many games.
After being out of the league for a few years Mike Babcock will be behind an NHL bench again. After the allegations against him both himself and captain Boone Jenner put out statements denying what took place.
This likely means that Babcock is in the clear for now. While this scenario does seem to just be a big misunderstanding and not anything devious it has revealed one thing.
Babcock will be under a microscope all season with how he is treating players and other staff in Columbus. If he has even one misstep it could spell the end for him in the NHL.
