Brad Marchand embarrasses the Leafs by dumping defenseman into bench
Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand is a notorious pest and he continued to be one as he just dumped Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Joel Edmundson into the bench.
With the playoffs beginning, physical play has taken a major spike. Early in the first period of tonight's game two between the Maple Leafs and Bruins opening series, Brad Marchand dumped Joel Edmundson into the Bruins bench.
Marchand nearly puts Edmunson into the Bruins' bench
Marchand did not receive a penalty for this play though he certainly could have for interference.
As it stands, the Bruins are up 2-1 on the Lesfs in the first intermission.
