Brock Boeser dealt with some scary health issues during the 2023/24 season, and now he reveals how it's going ahead of next season.

The Vancouver Canucks had to go through a tough stretch toward the end of last season, where health issues among key players were always an issue, particularly for one Brock Boeser. Boeser had been in exceptional form throughout the regular season but was just ruled out with blood clots just before the really important Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. That made them not just disappointed, but also very concerned for his health in the long run.

Thankfully, by the time news broke that Brock Boeser would miss Game 7 against the Edmonton Oilers, confirmation also came that while his condition was serious, it wasn't life-threatening. There were still questions, though, over when he could safely return to play. Recently, Noah Strang provided a positive update in this regard. Boeser has completed his course of blood thinners and is back in contact training. While some precautions remain, he should be cleared to return for the upcoming season.

It comes at a rather important time for both Brock Boeser and the Canucks. Off a season in which Boeser set a career-high in games played with 81, goals with 40, and points with 73, the expectations internally will be high for the 2024-25 season.

With Brock Boeser healthy, and coming off a Pacific Division title, the expectations are sky-high for the Canucks.
