Sometimes prospects just don't pan out, not everyone is ready for the National Hockey League and not all players can make that leap.
That is one of the occasions we are seeing here with this Chicago Blackhawks prospect.
On June 15th 2021, the Chicago Blackhawks signed the Czech prospect Jakub Pour who was playing in the Czech league for Plzen HC.
He spent last season playing for Rockford IceHogs in the AHL where he scored 6 goals and 8 points in 44 games.
This season he was demoted to the ECHL to play for the Indy Fuel, where he has recorded 2 goals and 5 points in 15 games.
Things have not been quite working out for Pour over here in North America, so today the Blackhawks and Pour reached the mutual decision to put him on waivers for the purpose of contract termination.
It's highly unlikely he gets signed by another AHL or NHL team, so he will most likely be heading back home to play in the Czech league.
