The Pittsburgh Penguins had a dissapointing season to say the least. They've officially missed the playoffs for the first time since Sidney Crosby's rookie season, and someone was going to take the blame.
Since Brian Burke and Ron Hextall took over as President and GM, they've made some questionable moves, that have made the roster even older and have brought in some players that have just not quite worked out like Mikhael Granlund, and it looks like the Penguins have seen enough.
It was just made official that the Pittsburgh Penguins have removed Hextall and Burke from their duties:
The Penguins have relieved President of Hockey Operations Brian Burke, General Manager Ron Hextall, and Assistant General Manager, Chris Pryor of their duties, it was announced today by Fenway Sports Group.
