BREAKING: Top 19-Year-Old Prospect Suspended Following Criminal Charges
A 2022 draft pick has been suspended by his league following some serious criminal charges.
Ronni Suspended For Criminal Charges
Back in 2022, the Calgary Flames selected Finnish prospect Topi Ronni 59th overall. Today, there was a major turn of events in which it has been revealed that Ronni is out indefinitely for some major criminal charges.
Tappara announces that Topi Rönni (CGY) is facing criminal charges. He'll be withdrawing from team activities until further notice:
It is currently unknown what is to come of these charges but it will certainly be a story to follow closely over the coming weeks if not months.
The suspected crime took place over two years ago when Ronni was 17 and a minor. Neither the club nor Ronni will comment any further on the case.
