With it comes a lot of good things: he became a star and gets to live his dream of playing profesionnal hockey.
However, there's also a dark side.
It's hard for a young man to stay humble and keep a great attitude in circumstances like these, but Bedard does it well. Even before the draft, where everyone talked about how he'd be the first one to go, he stayed modest.
Now that hockey season is back, we finally got the chance to see him on the ice!
He scored five points in two games, including one goal (in an empty net).
When he scored, Bedard didn't seem too happy that his first goal was an empty netter.
