Brady Tkachuk Compares Himself to Professional MMA Fighter in Wild Interview
Brady Tkachuk squared off against Jacob Trouba last year and revealed what it was like to fight Trouba at Madison Square Garden.

Last December, the New York Rangers faced off against the Ottawa Senators. The close battle between the two teams was feisty and the anger came out all at once when Brady Tkachuk squared off against Jacob Trouba.
While it was a relatively even fight with Trouba seemingly getting the better of Tkachuk at the end, Tkachuk got the last laugh as his Senators defeated the Rangers 3-2.
Tkachuk Describes The Experience
In a recent interview, Tkachuk described what it was like to go toe to toe with Trouba and even compared himself to professional MMA fighter Conor McGregor.
"I'm not gonna lie to you, I felt like McGregor. I felt like, it was a pretty unbelievable feeling, I'm not going to lie to you. Center stage of MSG, that was something I'll never forget. I don't know, it was at the end of my shift and I was skating to get off the ice and you know, he asked me 'can you give me one?'. I was like 'alright, sure'. If we're doing this, immediate center ice and I was thinking, 'this is pretty cool.'" Brady Tkachuk
A captain fight is always a joy to watch and it is great that Tkachuk made a lifelong memory in taking on that duel.
