Last Friday night, Carey Price made his long awaited return to the NHL, making his debut against the New York Islanders. Price was sidelined since the Stanley Cup finals because of injuries and a short time in rehab.
Saturday night the Montreal Canadiens hosted the Washington Capitals, which Carey Price did not play in that game, there was still a magical moment between Ovechkin and Price on their benches.
Ovechkin was later asked about the moment he shared with Price and he had this comment:
«Obviously, he's one of the best players in the league, He was in tough situation. He's a warrior. Good for him, good for organization, good for hockey, and good for family. Very happy he's back and hope everything is going to be fine.»
