A major fight emerged last night in the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators,

Canadiens' Pezzetta Drops the Gloves in Spirited Fight Against MacEwen

Right when the play started, the two players dropped the gloves and met at the center of the ice.


They took time to size each other up and MacEwan was the first to attack, releasing a powerful uppercut. Right after, he lost his footing and Pezzetta seized the opportunity to land solid punches.

Both players collapsed on the ice and the referees intervened.

After the fight, they retreated to the locker room and Pezzetta engaged with the crowd before leaving the ice.

As you can see, MacEwan was pretty banged up and ended up with a bloody face.
