Nazem Kadri hints at a return to Toronto via his social media
It was announced today that Nazem Kadri would be hitting the trade block this offseason and now it looks like a return to the Toronto Maple Leafs is imminent.
Earlier today, David Pagnotta shared that the Calgary Flames would be looking around for deals with forward Nazem Kadri.
Nothing is imminent, and he has a full NMC, but word out there suggests the #Flames are exploring trade market on Nazem Kadri.
Then later today, an eagle-eyed fan pointed out how Nazem Kadri could be hinting at a return to Toronto with his Instagram bio.
Now, this could mean that Kadri was originally based in Toronto and is now in Calgary, which is true, but could also mean that he is returning to Toronto this offseason.
A team like the Leafs would be perfect suitors for Kadri especially if they decide to move on from Mitch Marner. Kadri is coming off a strong campaign scoring 29 goals and 75 points. At 33 years old, Kadri is signed till he is 38 but if a team is in their contention window, like the Maple Leafs, then a move could be in order.
