Former NBA Star Takes a Shot at the Bruins Live on Air

It hasn't been an easy past two weeks for Boston sports fans, who're still reeling in from the Bruins first round exit at the hands of the Florida Panthers. After setting an NHL record for most points in a single season, the Bruins were considered a major letdown, and many have speculated where it went wrong. While Bruins fans try to figure out where things went south, NBA legend Charles Barkley has decided to rub salt in the wound of Boston sports fans.
Barkley Pokes Fun at Bruins Elimination
During a live broadcast of a Boston Celtics game, Charles Barkley joined a panel of analysts including Shaquille O'Neil to discuss the game. As they discussed the game, Barkley made a comment referencing the Bruins, and it certainly hurt the Boston sports fans listening.
"If the Celtics are eliminated they still got the Bruins. Oh wait..." - Charles Barkley
Fans on social media were quick to react to the clip, and all shared a laugh over the Bruins misfortune.
It certainly isn't a great time to be a Boston sports fan, but surely things will get better...right?
