Philadelphia Flyers trade 12th overall pick to the Minnesota Wild
The Philadelphia Flyers have officially traded the 12th overall pick to the Minnesota Wild at the 2024 NHL draft while on the clock.
The 2024 NHL draft has officially seen its first trade as the Philadelphia Flyers have traded the 12 overall pick away.
Some movement coming here with the 12th pick
It was then announced that the pick was traded to the Minnesota Wild.
Minnesota is moving up a spot
12 for 13 and a third next year
The pick was announced to be Zeev Buium.
I know the Wild were high on Zeev Buium and he's still available here. Let's see. University of Denver won a national title in their arena three months ago
Buium was one of the most productive defensemen in NCAA history and fell to 12 where the Wild could not wait to draft him. Buium will now continue to develop at Denver and hopefully one day become a top pairing defenseman alongside Brock Faber for the Minnesota Wild.
